ReplyDeleteIt is good to see one of the Big Six talking about personal branding. Branding is being taken more seriously in the professional world. A colleague of mine could not get an interview with a major bank. Finally, he sent the managing director a link to his Twitter account. Presumably, when the MD saw that he had some well-connected people following him, he was given an interview and the job. I see social media as an invaluable tool to communicate who and what you know without coming off as an immodest braggart. I thought my friend’s experience was worth sharing. All the best in the job market – it is picking up nicely!
